Paper Airplanes...

We decided to make paper airplanes the other day. After making them, Connor pretended his was a rocket ship...

Andrew wanted to get his up in the air as soon as possible...

In order to make this activity last longer (!) we decided to color our rocketships/airplanes.

Check out the concentration!

Time to test our airplanes!

They didn't fly as well as I remembered but we had fun anyway!

Blueprints...

Ok. Not really blueprints but it is blueprint paper and we are having a ball with it! Thank you Daddy! It's so much more kid(or Mommy!)-friendly. I've been known to sketch a few scenes or two on it and it is fun!

Backyard Campout...

It was HOT!

They couldn't wait to get inside!

They also couldn't wait to go to bed!

We played with our flashlights and made silly shadows on the walls of the tent.

Even Shane had fun laying in the sleeping bag!

Andrew was exhausted and actually asked to go inside to sleep in his crib...poor little guy!

Connor and Daddy toughed it out and slept in the tent all night long!! Did I mention how hot it was? Ugh. Huge kudos to Daddy!!!

We had so much fun and can't wait to do it again soon...when it's a bit cooler.

Happy Fourth...

Happy Fourth of July! We started off the holiday by making lawn stars. I cut cardboard in the form of a star (to the best of my ability!)

We brought them out front and watered the star.

Then we sprinkled flour into our stars.

Lawn stars!
We then headed downtown for some rides.

Andrew didn't like the slide.
They both loved the bounce house!

Daddy had to go in and get Andrew who did not want to come out willingly!

Then we relaxed in our seats and waited for the fireworks to start.

Shane had fun watching everyone!

Finally! The fireworks start!

What a fun weekend!
Happy 4th of July!
