First Day of Kindergarten...(for real!)

He was SO excited!!

First Day of Kindergarten!!

     Connor's first day of ALL DAY Kindergarten is today. We dropped him off today and he's taking the bus home later this afternoon. It's a very sad day for me. I've lost one of my best buddies...to the school system. Don't get me wrong, I'm also happy and excited for him but he will ALWAYS be in full time school from now on and that makes me sad. 

      The school does a staggered entry system so there are only 5 kids in his class today. This gives the teacher time to do assessments and get to know each of the kids on a more personal basis. Monday is the first real day when all 23 kids will be there. He will be taking the bus to and from school starting then. Next week will be very hard for me too...and probably the next 17 years :(

     He is very excited about school and taking the bus! Andrew and Shane are also very excited for him!

Nanny's visit, Connor's Preschool Graduation, Connor's 5th Birthday, Shane's 2nd Birthday, Beach Trip 2012, Special Ops Museum trip, end of soccer season...May was a BLAST!!
